I want to go tanning. Where can I get glasses and cream? Please answer! ?

Im going tanning before the next Back to School month. but im alittle afraid to go because I never see tanning. im Puerto Rican and I'm already tan, but I just want to be a little more tanned. Does it hurt when placing on the beds. and a day of tanning to get darker? or go more than once to get the "Tan"? and also where you can buy glasses and cream in it. Is there a pharmacy that sells instead of buying online?
