If that is the case it may be the maximum amount of body tanning you can do in 1 session without burning or damaging your skin.

It’s better to moisturize to much than not enough. The reason for this is cause when your skin gets dry your body has more dead skin cells. I’ve seen to many people apply their lotions after they enter the tanning salons and this will not give you the optimal results you are looking for. By applying the lotions before your body tanning sessions this gives your body skin plenty of time to soak the lotions in resulting in the best tanning results.
Make sure you wear eye protection even if you are only tanning for a couple of minutes. Even a couple of minutes is enough time for eye damage to occur. Once you damage your vision there is no turning back so don’t take chances when it comes to your eyes.
